Seasons

Every season brings change in nature - sometimes life, sometimes death, sometimes rain and sometimes drought.  But no matter what the current season brings, one thing is certain - the season will eventually change.  Much like nature, our lives (emotional, physical, spiritual and cognitive) are seasonal too.  Life, death, rain and drought - the cycles of life.  We cannot escape the seasons.  Lasting days, weeks, months or years the cycle revolves.  The impact of the experiences from every season in life have the power to either build us or break us.  So how do we move from season to season without being hindered from the weights or hanging on to the expectations of the last?

Often when we gain awareness, find acceptance and take action, it will allow us to move forward with the gift of evaluated experience - wisdom.  Therapy is the vehicle.  Contrary to societal biases seeking therapy is not an act of weakness, but of great strength and courage. It's the choice of a warrior.  Investing in a season of life will secure harvests in the ones to come. The beauty is that nature and therapy are harmonious.  Equine assisted psychotherapy is a modality of therapy in which the horse and human share interactions in a setting of nature to embrace the process of discovery, change and healing.  Whether it's a season of life, death, rain or drought or a combination of them all, wisdom is awaiting those that seek it!
